There are many reasons why I really love this country which is famous as “Zamrud Khatulistiwa” (Equatorial Emerald) . I love it’s unity in diversity , Indonesian people , cultures , foods , tourism places , languages , and last but not least , I love the weather !

I love Indonesia’s weather , I really do .

We know , this awesome archipelago is located at equatorial . So that , it has tropical climate, and it has good weather of course . Not too cold , and not too hot . So suitable for living . We know that global world is so worried of global warming issue , but Indonesia . The air , the water , and the land of Indonesia have not too contaminated yet . Have you ever think ? Weather is so influencing many sectors . The first is human’s mood . When the weather is too hot , someone can be so emotional . When the weather is too cold , someone can be so lazy . As we know , Indonesians are so known for their hospitality . We remember “hospitality is the best policy” principe. Ya , according to what I have said before , Indonesia has a very suitable weather . So , Indonesian’s nice behaves are so affected by weather . Great !

Then , the second sector is tourism places . How come ? All tourists love to visit a tourism place when the weather is good . They don’t love to visit when it rains , or so sunny . And then , foods ! We know , Indonesian has a variety and tasty foods . All the foods are simple but not boring , and the taste are so typical , so unique . Not surprising , the recipes are sometimes inherited from ancestor to descendant . There are many traditional food in Indonesia , such as pempek , pepeda , soto , rendang , and many more . Almost all region in Indonesia have different traditional food . And all of them are extremely delicious ! So , what is the relation to weather ? There are many ! One of them is , someone cooks foods based on the weather surrounding . The example is , when it is cold , someone will not cook cold food like pecel , ice , and many more . And we know , almost all traditional food’s recipe are using traditional seasonings which are taken from land surrounds .It can be taken from plants , and animals . Besides , some plants growing are sometimes affected by weather and climate . So that , it’s very influenced by weather .

Ya , those are some evidence if weather are so influenced in many sectors . That’s why I love Indonesia’s weather . And the most important is , I love to step on this land , I love to live in this heterogeneous country . I LOVE INDONESIA ! Not only loving , I try to make a trace on it , to form Indonesia’s glory ! Let’s keep the pride of being Indonesian !
